Installing the Personal Study Manager

1. After inserting the CD the Gryphon Learning Install Selector appears. Select one of the four options; Install Personal Study Manager, Software Activation, Gryphon Learning Web Site or Upcoming Seminars. This example follows the installation process of the Personal Study Manager (highlighted in blue.)



2. The installation process starts. As with all installations you have the option to cancel.



3. After the Windows Installer has been configured the screen below appears. Click next to continue the process.



4. After reading the License Agreement Click YES to indicate agreement by you, of that Agreement.

5. The installer will ask you to select a destination drive; in most cases this will be 'C' drive. If you only have one hard drive this is the default drive and it will be the only drive to appear.

6. During the installation process the following screen appears alerting users to set if required after the installation, their display settings to:

a. Screen resolution - 1024 x 768 and,
b. Display- Small fonts

These are the minimum display settings required to run Gryphon Learning software.

7. Gryphon Learning uses a package (Toolbook) that requires the Toolbook Neuron plugin. Click NEXT> to install the plugin.

8. Click YES to agree and proceed with the Neuron plugin installation.

9. Please enter your name in the User Name field and a company name or a full stop (.) in the Company name field and click Yes.

10. After the Neuron plugin has finished installing, a Setup Staus box will appear. This just gives an indication of the percentage left of the installation process.

11. The final screen gives you the opportunity of reading the Release notes for the Neuron plugin; click the check-box if you wish to read the relese note or click Finish.

12. The system is cleaning-up after itself.

13. After the 'clean-up' a dialogue box appears telling you the installation has been successfully completed.Click Finish to exit.
