Academic Courses
These courses consist of Nationally Recognised Units of Competency and may lead to the award of Australian Qualifications. Students completing these courses are given Statements of Attainment, which will be recognised by other Registered Training Organisations.

Industry Short Courses (ASIC PS146 Compliance)
These courses incorporating Nationally Recognised Units of Competency are listed on the ASIC training register as satisfying ASIC’s minimum competency requirements for financial advisors specialising in certain areas. Students who satisfactorily complete these courses receive Statements of Attainment and Certificates of completion.

Other Industry Short Courses
These courses are developed in consultation with financial organisations to provide training for their employees in specific areas (e.g. Margin Lending.)

Continuing Education
Professional members of the financial community are required to undertake on-going Continuing Professional Development as defined by ASIC. Gryphon Learning offers CPD. For those professionals interested in also earning Academic Qualifications some special requirements apply. However, subject to satisfying appropriate requirements, then some CPD topics can count towards a nationally recognized Diploma or an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services.

Short Courses in Finance for the private individual
Gryphon learning offers a number of courses in aspects of finance for individuals interested in education about finance or wealth creation. These courses use some of the same material used in the Academic or Industry short courses, but do not involve formal assessment, and hence do not lead to Australian Qualifications.
