Gryphon Learning Implementation

Evidence of the following is essential:

ability to work without causing harm to themselves or other workers

ability to identify workplace hazards, demonstrate what should be done in case of emergency, and contribute to the workplace strategy for managing the safety and health of the organisation.

In working through the courseware for this unit, students are given dozens of opportunities to complete OH&S-related tasks by responding to interactive assessment items. In completing the test they perform more complex tasks

Assessment must ensure:

Assessment of performance requirements in this unit should be undertaken within a workers compensation industry context and should cover aspects of personal/ financial responsibility and accountability.

Aspects of competency, including attainment of the relevant knowledge and skills should be assessed in a relevant workplace, a closely simulated work environment or other appropriate means that clearly meet industry competency requirements.

Assessment takes place within the context of a financial services industry workplace.

Assessment must ensure:

Holistic assessment with other units relevant to the industry sector, workplace and job role is recommended, for example:

This unit can be assessed independently.
